This unit covers the entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, entry and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up.
Who Should Attend?
This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces.
How long will the training take?
This course is approximately one (1) day in duration.
Who is eligible to undertake this training?
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Students will learn to...
Students will learn to work in confined spaces in a safe and efficient manner. The course will include the following:
- Plan and prepare for work in a confined space
- Work in a confined space
- Exit confined space
- Clean up
How is the course conducted and assessed?
Your training will be divided up into two parts firstly theory and once that is completed a practical section.
Upon successful completion of the unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued. Participants will receive a wallet card consisting of one (1) nationally recognised unit of competency.

Location and facilities:
Training is conducted at both our main office (13 Junction Drive Coolum, Queensland 4573) and our off-site large practical training area (shown here). Vocational Training Facilities. Confined Space Training is not restricted to the Sunshine Coast and may be conducted throughout Queensland provided there are sufficient students.
